The Golf Club at Yankee Trace
Driving Range Construction
Centerville, OH
Oheil Site Solutions constructed a driving range at The Golf Club at Yankee Trace in Centerville, Ohio.

Work began on the project in late 2017. The driving range is 300 ft. by 15 ft., and utilizes artificial turf to allow the Golf Club to be a year-round practice facility.

Because of the time of year that the construction took place, Midwest weather conditions were a particular challenge on the job. Low temperatures have an adverse affect on the turf adhesive's ability to properly bond, which required some creative solutions to overcome.

To counteract the cold, Oheil Site Solutions created a tent running the length of the driving range using lumber and heavy-duty tarps. This tenting trapped heat beneath the plastic sheeting, which kept the driving range warm enough for the adhesive to bond.

Most importantly, it allowed the project to continue on schedule and the work to be completed correctly.
